Bluecrow Projects deliver spectacular fit-out to The Market
Bluecrow Projects Ltd were the Main Contractor for The Market’s food and dining areas on level 2 at 22 Bishopsgate, London. DesignLSM implemented the interior design in collaboration with The Morris Project NYC, which brought together three exceptional and experienced companies.
This spectacular design and fit-out consisted of 20,000sq ft restaurant and food market comprising of four kiosks, an external terrace, a culture space, and a ‘Speakeasy’.
The complex fit-out showcases bespoke joinery from Bluecrow Joinery Ltd, with items ranging from window, column and free-standing leaner counters to solid oak doors, banquette seating and core wall seating, waiter stations, as well as solid oak wall panelling and ceiling slats.
The Bluecrow teams worked closely with DesignLSM and client; Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, to ensure their designs and dreams came to fruition. With RHC being an international premium hospitality group, Bluecrow ensured the quality of materials and expert craftsmanship matched the philosophy of our clients’ expectations.
With all this in mind, the innovative new design environments and a timeless and highly polished aesthetic space was created, drawing inspiration from the crafted ethos of London guilds, which London once had close to 90, where their purpose was to provide welfare to their members and a place to gather and share ideas.
“The design for 22 Bishopsgate seeks to emulate their noble objectives; encouraging the development of community while supporting collaboration, well-being and discovery. With a natural colour palette interspersed with subtle brown hues with the muted tones referencing the Heraldic emblems of the guilds, coupled with the use of natural materials, soft natural plaster and oak arches communicate a sense of balance and harmony, allowing guests to come together for shared experiences”. – Courtesy of DesignLSM
