Further to the latest UK government announcement, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour has made the decision to move the dates of London Design Week 2021 to 11 – 16 April 2021.

Spring’s most authoritative interior design event, London Design Week 2021, will showcase the best in design from 120 international showrooms. It kickstarts with a virtual launch on Sunday 11 April. From Monday 12 to Friday 16 April, the event will be hybrid, with inspiring in-person visits and a dedicated online platform that will reach out to a global audience. 

These days, design and decoration has never been so central to our lives. Looking forward to a better, brighter future, London Design Week 2021 will inform interiors for the months ahead. Explore the new-season collections and access the joyful palettes, uplifting patterns and defining products for spring/summer 21. There will be a greater variety of natural designs, as well as an increasing consciousness for sustainability. Amplifying expert voices sharing knowledge, dig deeper into their creative evolution with insider insights from the people who shaped them. 

Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is where interiors of great individuality begin. People cooped up at home are longing for change and self expression, and interior designers have taken on new work and are finalising ongoing projects. With its unique collective, London Design Week 2021 offers directional fabrics, furniture, lighting, wallcoverings, carpets, tiles, kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor living, trimmings, leather and hardware, all of the highest calibre. New international showrooms opening in time for London Design Week 2021 include Schumacher, ABI Interiors and Studio Franchi. A curated selection of house guests will added another layer. Whatever style you seek – from harmonious retreat to neo nostalgia; rural idyll to cosy apartment, or simply inspiring ideas to reinvent and refresh the home, commercial project or yacht interior – the Design Centre has been agile in recognising changing needs to keep design projects moving forward.

The virtual programme will bring together design’s greatest minds, showcasing the remarkable creativity that has evolved with changing times. A stellar line-up of online talks, masterclasses and business-focused sessions will provide conversations and in-depth analysis that will keep the design industry competitive and connected.

London Design Week 2021 remains a design calendar highlight. It will adhere to UK government guidelines at the time, and plans may be subject to change. The welfare of the Design Centre’s community of showrooms, colleagues, partners and visitors remains a number one priority.
