Leading yacht brokerage company Edmiston has announced a new, and first-of-its-kind, collaboration with Europe’s leading private jet airport, Farnborough Airport.
Following on from the successful partnership with Edmiston London Heliport, from today, Farnborough Airport’s terminal will become a fully immersive Edmiston experience for guests travelling through the airport.
With the addition of a sweeping red sail across the terminal’s welcome wall and the creation of The Edmiston Lounge, where travellers can relax and unwind before flying, the Farnborough guest experience is now steeped in the Edmiston lifestyle. From July, the terminal’s striking air-side radar tower will also showcase the Edmiston branding.
The Edmiston Lounge is a fully bespoke design, filled with rich, textured fabrics and furniture to cocoon guests in high-end comfort. It ensures a seamless, relaxing travel experience from start to finish. The space pairs natural upholstery with pops of Edmiston red, sleek coffee tables in wood, marble and chrome and leathered panelled walls. Private jet travellers will be enveloped in the Edmiston world through beautiful photography, a travel library, objets d’art and fascinating yacht models, while they enjoy a range of delicious refreshments in The Edmiston Lounge.
Discretion in the lounge is guaranteed by a sweeping curved wall that frames the space, playing on the movement of waves and air by using wooden slanted blades that rise up in differing lengths to create punctuated glimpses of the space. From July, on moving airside, guests will be wowed by Edmiston’s creative branding placement, which wraps two sides of the airport’s radar tower. The banner scales 18m high and 18m wide, making it the largest ever air-side advertisement in a UK airport.
