Our business has developed to support the needs of our customers to over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space, which combines the very latest in sign manufacturing and printing technology, including laser cutting, CNC routers, wide format printing capabilities and the most up to date paint technology . Our in house production team are highly experienced with time served craftspeople who are totally committed to providing the highest level of product, quality and craftsmanship for our clients. Widd Signs have a dedicated team of professionally qualified project managers, all with significant knowledge in the construction industry and experience of working in the retail sector with focus on right first time delivery.
At Widd Signs, we understand and are able to easily interpret client’s requirements and turn the aspirations into reality providing beautiful signs for branded environments.
We strive to continually improve with best practice at the forefront of our approach when working with principal and main contractors. We work closely with site teams to understand store specific environments and conditions whilst working to strict programmes. Our project managers ensure that all of the on-site paperwork is accurate in the form of Scopes of Work, RAMS and Permits. We hold Gold Constructionline Membership, which ensures that our health and safety standards meets the highest requirements.
We are an investor in people and employ highly trained installation teams who work in the UK and throughout Europe. All of our teams are trained and accredited with the necessary on site qualifications including Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, PASMA and all hold CSCS cards. We also are certified with Hilti, Rawlplug and Gripple fixing products. This gives us and our customers confidence in the knowledge that our signs will be professionally installed to the safest standards and quality.
M&S are synonymous with quality and design and we are very proud to be part of the team working alongside them. We have enjoyed working with the M&S team for over 10 years, building a long standing relationship always with the aim of delivering the very best service and quality of product and a trust in the knowledge that we will always deliver.
We are delighted to have been awarded some exciting and innovative internal and external signage projects on some of the very latest high profile stores in the M&S estate and are proud to have delivered these alongside the M&S team.
Our aim is always to support M&S in their Plan A journey and environmental pursuit of low carbon and sustainability and to this end, Widd Signs have installed in excess of 1000+ square metres of solar panels on our factory roofs to reduce reliability on fossil fuels and to keep a control of our energy costs. This is further enhanced by our fleet of electric and hybrid cars and investment in the very latest manufacturing technology and high quality raw materials such as aluminium, recyclable Perspex and LED’s to ensure that landfill is kept to a minimum.
